Our Doors are Open!

We are finally settled into our spacious new location at 7601-D Airpark Road (corner of Woodfield Rd. (Rt. 124) and Airpark Rd.) in Gaithersburg MD. There are now four artists comfortably working out of private studio rooms with their own personal flair for you to experience when you pull the trigger on your next tattoo. You'll see how serious we are about giving you a unique experience and piece of body art. Directions: EXIT 8 E off 270 is Shady Grove Rd. which turns into Airpark Rd. Follow until you cross Woodfiled Rd. and make imediate right into parking lot. End at 7601-D.

Now that the RAW INK crew is complete with some of the best talent in the area, each artist brings a different background and wealth of industry experience that drives creativity and quality to the extreme every day. We all have a formal art education and always provide custom tattoos so you'll never leave here with something that you'll later see on the internet or on someone else. We believe tattoos are a form of individual expression so lets keep it that way. We do not charge for artwork to be drawn up, only needle to skin time, which allows you to save some money and walk away with a custom tattoo without anyone feeling like they got ripped off..

We work with local businesses like Victor Litz Music Center, Iron Works Chopper Shop, Growlers Brewery and Tattoo Kulture Magazine to reach out and support Montgomery County Maryland schools. Appointments are not required but strongly recommended. Consultations with ANY artist are always welcome without an appointment. With five years of industry management experience, he can help you with anything from troubleshooting healing issues, to making your next appointment with your usual artist, to choosing the right artist to draw up your idea. Put together by the crew at RAW Ink in Gaithersburg, Maryland, this unique gathering brought together local tattoo lovers along with models, bikers and music lovers for an incredible night of fun,tattoos, music and a party. The event took place at Bailey's Pub & Grill in Germantown, and it was a great venue for this event. A separate large room provided the ideal intimate spot for the tattoo portion of the night, and the main bar area , just steps away, provided the staging area for Woo Yellow Dubmarine. Bar Ink is the creation of RAW Ink Studio owner Bobby Weschler. He put a lot of effort in pulling together the first Bar Ink at Roy's place, but even took it up a notch with BAR Ink II with a bigger venue, hotel accommodations for guests, big brand sponsors like Anheuser-Busch and Monster Energy Drink. He also brought along his team of talented tattoo artists to make this an unforgettable night of tattoos, food,fun, music and an all around good time.
